Bowl Line-Ups

Tecmo Bowl
Cowboys 38 MallRats 38

Dean's Hubbard and Fossella agreed that the tie breaker for the game would be picking sides in the National Championship game.

Dean Fossella will represent the Crimson Tide; Dean Hubbard the Tigers.

This was only our second tie in league history, but at least better then the 14-14 Frase-Green snoozefest in TB I.

Tavon Austin with a Slaton circa Jan 2006 performance leads the Cowboys to the head of the Tecmo Bowl with WR Wright/Ark to play.

Cowboys come into the Tecmo as heavy underdogs, but it is a position they've been in before...

QB Moore vs ASU
RB Turbin vs Ohio
RB Sims vs Utah
WR Austin vs Clemson
WR Jeffrey vs Nebraska
TE Charles vs MSU

Good luck to Dean Hubbard and the rest of the Mallrats.

Just a reminder but there is a de facto/ex post facto DNP rule, even for WRs during Bowl week due to the elongated schedule.

That is, over three weeks, there is a decent chance one of your players will get into trouble or get injured, and you are allowed to make a change. If you can post back-ups, they will be honored.

Big Green Big Bowl Line-up:
** I am feeling more like the Roosters - Both Dyer and Finch are likely going to be suspended for the bowl.

Griffin (QB Georgia)
Mark
Brown (Finch)
Floyd
Huff
Reed

For the record, that's 6 players and only 7 syllables.

I need to focus on the NFL.

Tough seeing Marshall get stopped 2x at the one yard line, but i'll consider 8 from Moore a win. I like that guy.

Who reminded the D'inc squad to show up for the bowl games?

Last night's Baylor game nicely encapsulates the Big Green Legacy.

67 points, 9 TDs - RGIII only accounts for 2 (plus a Rogue); 7 TDs from runners not named RGIII. It was as if Washington designed their defense to absolutely prevent the Big Green from having an awesome game.

Nice of Vick Ballard to put in 12 during the JCG.

I did check in with Dean Bowen about starting White earlier this week.

I did not with Wesley, but I only have 2 bowl eligible RBs, so I assume that's not controversial.

Does the Juco know that New Years is not a Lock-in.

Way too many donuts.

Sad for last day of break, but making most of it. cooking a chicken, drinking cape codders and 18 from EdwArds and Ball so far. Sorry to see Ashlon Get tossed for the Cowboys as he was having a great game. Assume Rainey Starts for Cowboys as Sims was a DNP what I've seen.

Happy 2012 to all.

Western Ky did not get a bowl game, so Alexander was substituted for Wyoming (donut.)

Only Austin remains for the Cowboys.

The Shamrocks and the Ales had a great showdown last night in the Rose Bowl, with the Ales just edging out the 'rocks.

It was a great rematch of sorts from last years Tecmo Bowl with the Ales coming out on top this year.

this one was for bragging rights. Weeden's run won the day.

Great win Dean Bowen, and a great season.

How did this season fare on the stats? Seemed scoring was down, as we see with the bowls.

Guess my talk with Geno Smith didn't resonate.ust of been pissed about the non start.

Go Jarius!

The Tecmo Bowl is a classic WR showdown. Great game, Cowboys and Rats.

HUB said...

Is Tiebreaker in Tecmo same as playoff rules, head to head. Meaning cowboys win on a tie, since I lost to them in the playoff Championship?

One TD and one extra point catch may be needed... Going to be a stressful Friday night...

This reminds me of Gresham and Bradford all over again.

Local Ale said...

Techinically, Dean Hubbard, you and Dean Fossella could arrange a tie breaker, including splitting the pot in a tie.

That being said, is W-L for the bowl games per player, then INTs.
