2013 CFFL Cheat Sheet (July)
The Commish is providing a generic listing of top pre-season prospects for each position with retained players removed. The players are presented in no particular order (they are not ranked by a site or by the Commish) but should give you a starting point.
2013 Rosters
The Commish has done a prelim job to remove the players who have entered the draft.
When you have a moment, please review your team, and post your add/drops so I can get rosters cleaned up for recruiting season.
2013 Schedule
Note: Week 12 has been added to the regular season. Dean Porter discovered that the season actually extends out to week 14, as far as bye weeks go--this is likely do to an odd year where there is an extra "week" in the college football season; the Jam will be played week 7. We will likely keep total points at just Week 12, and the playoffs will be played Week 13 & 14. More to come on this topic...

I believe that WR Johnson and RB Stephens graduated (or more likely used up their eligibility).

Waiting to hear on the fate of Holmes. Will likely waive Harris and consider resigning him post draft if I cannot improve, but I do like Sun Belt in November options.
This is great news for the JuCo Express. Week 12 is our favorite Week.

Its funny when JUCO players suck so bad they are moved to defense.
Dean Porter drafted one of the top guards at Oklahoma one year.
Sealing the edge is important to the Roosters.
You can cut Lunt, The Rooster don't want an Illinois QB on their roster.

Ales waive RB Holmes, who is no longer at Va Tech.
Dinc waive Rhodes after being kicked off the team.
Shamrocks will be cleaning the roster in the next couple/few weeks. Is Shell even playing? Peace WR Houston is not on that team anymore - not sure where he landed. May not be on this roster. Need to double check my OU RB roster spot as well - had some moves there last season, so not sure who is on my roster now. QB is stacked - freakin Golson cost me some trade value pre-season!

It's true, you should be looking towards 2014 and leave 2013 to serious contenders.

Waive Golston, Peace, and Shell. Peace and Shell have uncertain D1 futures as does Golston who wasn't very good to begin with. Scheelhause should probably go as well.

Reviewing the draft worksheet, looks like you gave my 5th round pick to Juco, when in fact, Juco's 5th round pick should come to rats as stated:
Rats QB Dysert (MiOH) to JuCo for WR Moore (Northern Illinois) and a 2013 5th rounder.
Do you think I would have made that trade:)

13 open Roster spots. Will be drafting til cows come home as it is.
It's a great strategy to use roster spaces for regular people who don't play college football.
In fantasy football, I think there is some confusion about what it means "to have a good back-up quarterback." It doesn't mean have a good back-up quarterback.
Season starts in 8 days, plenty of tine to cut backups.
