Dom Davis vs Maryland
Spann vs Fresno
Thomas vs 'Cuse
Broyles vs UCONN
Cobb vs Pitt
Eifert

(Weeden, Clay, Brown then Torres if Brown is out.)

Clay might yet get the start.

Cobb vs Lewis, a month from now, is huge.

Spann vs Hamler (Shamrock bench) is pretty big too early in the Bowls. Ales can set the tone early, or Spann can lay an egg like last weekend. And Shamrocks might be regretting not starting Hamler.

The SSF and Ales Rule Factor have already been included in the algorithm. Shamrocks still projected for slight edge.

Dan T. said...

My 12 so far is lacking because of that overthrow.

Cal Poly said...

Of course, we discount the Ales Rules Factor to a negative bias, and tend to mitigate various suck factors as a result of the statistical adjustments that occurred after a crappy MAC team versus a Sun Belt team in a bowl game threw off our suck metrics.

Oh yeah. That was fun. But then it turned not fun in this era of judging people by character, and punches.

Local Ale said...

Coach Hayes, trust me on this one, college football was corrupted by fantasy sports and youtube, and most people alive have never heard of you.

Where as you lost your job, Blount is making a living as a running back in the NFL.

My agent is already in talks for the Xtranormal film.

It's about a down and out kid from San Luis Obispo who can't make the varsity team, but his love of electronics and Tecmo lead him to the heights of Cal Poly. His dreams are answered when The CFFL Commissioner reaches out for an exciting 2010-2011 bowl season. Our Cal Poly hero (Dieter) matches wits with the MIT math guy (broccoli guy is auditioning) and hijinks ensue. The movie almost writes itself.

Just saw my TE Tenn has a TD the other day on the bench...not that I was going to start him but it hurts that ND made a bowl game, then I would have had to play him.

What to do on a night off from games? Any call tonight?

Commish said...

No radio show-- maybe one more this month to discuss coaching changes and going pro.

Blogtalk is forcing a paid move Feb 1; eliminating prime-time (7-10 PM) scheduling of calls so I will look for a new solution.

I would otherwise front an in season radio program cost, but not paying for the off months--its not cheap and really for 'pros.' This happens in the free media, but usually not like this. They actually aren't offering much more to go premium unless you really want to get into doing a daily program (advertising, promotion and so on.)

Anyway--I'll be on the look-out for a new solution as it appears (80+ listens to the week 12 show, 30+ for the Bowl Preview) there is interest and I am here to serve.

James Oregon 108 (more on Mon)
Blackmon OK St 102
Luck Stanford 71
Padron SMU 66
Binns Cincy 54

Special thanks for WR Eric Page for catching a 2 point conversion and putting the Shamrocks over the top in the Tecmo Bowl. LaMichael James will add points Monday night, and the Shamrocks will top the Rats 2010/2011 Bowl total of 50 points.

Congrats Shamrocks. I must say that I am disappointed that Cobbs didn't do anything to make the NC game interesting. At least watching Newton/Adams combine for 50 for the greatest JCG comeback will be exciting.

Congrats OMan.

Also, did anybody else find it down right laughable that Jamie Harper has declared for the draft?

His final stats are as follows:
197-760 (3.9) 7 TDs rush; 37-320 3TDs rec; in the ACC with non-conf games against N texas and Presbyterian.

Good luck.

ACC said...

Harper didnt want to be behind Ellington in the draft next year, like he would be if he returned to the Clemson backfield this summer.

Harper is also trying out as a catcher for the Rockies. Parker put in a good word.

o-man said...

Dean Bowen,

Good news: Forsey's Ales lead the Shamrocks in the CFI Bowl Challenge. Small victory...

Bad News: Shamrocks still have James going tonight in the Challenge and only trail by 6. You and I are both in the Bowl Challenge basement anyway.

Little chance the Shamrocks can catch JuCo (63rd) or the Roosters (134th) in the Bowl Challenge though.

That said, a chick (Michele G) came in 4th, at least going into tonight. Beat us all.
