Shamrocks 3rd round draft pick in 2009, Brandon Banks (6 points week 3 2009) proves he belongs in NFL. His altercation outside an upscale nightclub in Washington DC left him with a stab wound and now an un-inflatable lung.
Undrafted out of KSU, Banks' injury brings street cred to his game, should the NFL pursue an active 2011 season.
Banks agent, James Gould, said today that the Redskins WR and return man is so pleased that his friend started an altercation with a maniacal knife wielder so Banks could get stabbed in the chest. Gould continued to say that stab wounds to the chest are a great way for receivers to prove their worth - much better than, say, a self inflicted gunshot to the thigh.
Banks is looking forward to showing the wound to Daniel Snyder, which will be submitted with a workers comp claim. Players got to get paid.
