JUCO, I believe that the Commish stated that participants in finals could negotiate on what time period this covers. Do we want to include next two weeks games as well, so we can both have optimal lineups?

Uh...I'm on a plane so let me look at the schedule before committing to the 29th....
I'm good with the 29th.. doesn't look like there's any games on the 30th.
We should also clarify whether a player who goes in both weeks can be sat in Week 1 and go in Week 2. And if so, we may want to add a DNP rule for WR's -- if you're planning a Week 2 performance, and there's an injury at practice. Essentially, naming one back up and specifying week for a WR and TE.

The rules applied typically, if you have a bye on the 22nd, and a game on the 29th, the game is played over two weeks. That part is really not up for negotiation.
If you have a game both dates, we have traditionally counted only the first--that would be up to negotiation--but I suppose one could choose which game to play, with a stated back-up.

I think we put the best line-up we can on the field based on the match-ups over the next two weeks (22nd and 29th), with stated back-ups (and corresponding game) in the event of injuries.

Additionally, square away OT--you are allowed one additional tie breaker after ints (or two over all-you can junk ints and go to an extra player)--tie goes to the higher points team.
Further, the Juco is making it more difficult than it needs to be.
Over/Under on JuCo line up changes with two weeks worth of games to choose from.

Juco, I'm fine with best lineup over two weeks. However, a player can not be their own back up should they be chosen to play in week two, thereby getting week one score. That would be silly, and encourage assasination attempts should they perform well in week one.
As for tiebreakers, I think naming a bench player (an an additional alternate should that player be pulled into action) is a good second tiebreaker. Keep the ints. Even though I lost a matchup on that rule this year, we don't want to basterdize the rule book :)
This set up has all the complexity of an AP Vibromatics class.
So in summary:
1) Best lineup over two weeks
2) Name back up at each position, specify game
3) No Self Backups.
4) Additional player as 2nd tiebreaker.

Unfortunately I read this chronologically. Imagine my chuckle as I read that LeFevour was back in. .. nice day for McCoy. It's gonna be a close one.

Been a coaching shitshow so far: McCoy's late game pass gets ruled out at the 1 (would've been 24), Lefevour tears up for 22, in his 2nd start Jarvis gets in for a dozen, then Brown and Anderson both score vs. EMU, on the bench. Seems its all up to Harvin and Marko Mitchell to turn in a historic performance, and somehow keep Moreno and Bryant in check.
Frankly, I don't see it happening...

A well played affair all around. I thought I had it in the bag heading into the second half, seemed that Bryant had been pretty well bottled up. Man was I mistaken. Either way, high drama - the 2008 CFFL playoff championship will go down as an all-timer.
